A few ideas for saving the damn. 1.SRPA needs to acquire the damn from BLT in order to have control. 2. Abutters could be assessed a fee to have the damn repaired giving them sole control of the river.3. Abutters could start a class action law suit against BLT for potential loss of property value. 4.Sell the damn to a company that would use it to generate hydro electric power. 5. Appeal to wealthy contributers like John Lizak. He has already showed interest in the damn by donating the fence.
